Job summary

Prep Kitchen Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Line Operative to support the production of ready meals on the kitchen production line. You will prepare and weigh ingredients, follow recipes and production instructions, and ensure products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The role operates on a Monday-Thursday night shift, 18:00-06:00, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Candidates must be available for an interview within the specified window.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, weigh and handle ingredients according to production requirements.
• Work on the kitchen production line and ensure products are assembled and portioned correctly.
• Follow recipes, specifications and instructions from Team Leaders and Supervisors.
• Operate kitchen and production equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all food safety, allergen, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Carry out basic quality checks and report any issues immediately.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area.
• Complete cleaning and sanitising of equipment and work areas as required.
• Follow all health and safety and PPE requirements.
• Report equipment faults, accidents, hazards or food safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining quality.
• Support other kitchen areas when required.
• Work positively as part of the production team and follow reasonable instructions from management.
