Job summary

KEEN London in East London is seeking a Services Coordinator to lead the Saturday sessions for 5–11 year olds with SEND. This hands‑on, relationship‑led role works with athletes, families and coaches to create a safe, inclusive sporting environment where every child can thrive.

You will coordinate volunteers, manage safeguarding, and maintain CRM records while collaborating with schools and partners. Hybrid role, four days a week, with Saturdays essential during term time.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with disabled children and children with additional needs.
• Sound safeguarding knowledge and ability to inform practice.
• Availability to work every Saturday in term time, 9:30am–2:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, inclusive running of Saturday sessions at the site.
• Plan and deliver a varied activities programme for every Saturday.
• Coordinate athletes, families and coaches to support needs.
• Work with schools and agencies to gather information for safeguarding.
• Manage group dynamics and adapt activities to maintain safety and inclusion.
• Act as safeguarding lead and assist with first aid when needed.
• Contribute to development of new services and training with volunteers.
