Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centre in Worcester is seeking a friendly Saturday Retail Sales Advisor to deliver exceptional service and run store operations smoothly. You’ll assist customers, build product knowledge, and help manage stock and deliveries while enjoying a supportive team.

The role offers a competitive salary and benefits with potential training to advance within the Brewers network. Weekend hours are 7am–5pm on weekdays and Saturday; located in Worcester.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

• Enjoys working in a team but can work independently.
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall or First Aider.
• Keen to learn and progress in the industry.
• Retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch to uphold Brewers’ reputation.
• Use product knowledge to make recommendations and help customers choose the best products.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request stock within the branch network.
• Develop sales of paint, wallpaper and fabric products.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal and special items and merchandise in-store to boost visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
• Unload deliveries and ensure proper stock placement in-store.

We have an excellent opportunity for a friendly and reliable Saturday Retail Sales Advisor to join the team at our Brewers Decorator Centre in Worcester, to provide exceptional service to customers in our store. You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch and its delivery service running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

With a prominent location on Sheriff Street Trade Park and easy access to the city, the branch offers a spectacular product range which includes a showroom featuring a comprehensive range of designer paints and wallcoverings. Brewers are renowned throughout the country for providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service - it's why we welcome so many repeat customers back into our business. The opening hours for this branch are 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm on Saturday.

As a Retail Sales Advisor with Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Developing sales of the Company product range including wallpaper, paint and fabric
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Assisting with stock maintenance in the branch
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store

• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate
