Job summary

Bupa Dental Care in Bognor Regis is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome patients, manage bookings, and support the team with excellent service. The role focuses on creating a relaxed, welcoming environment and handling patient enquiries with professionalism.

Hours are Saturdays, 8:45am to 5:15pm, totaling 7.5 hours a week, with opportunities to contribute to a smooth patient journey from arrival to treatment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-focused role.
• Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Confidence using IT systems to manage bookings and records.
• Proactive, flexible approach - ready to help where needed to support the team.
• Professionalism, empathy, and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service.
• Confident in promoting Bupa Dental Care products and services including plan options, finance and insurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly in person and over the phone and answer queries.
• Manage diary and appointments, including bookings, cancellations and rescheduling.
• Explain processes and treatment options and assist with payments and options (NHS/private).
• Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information.
• Support clinicians with smooth handovers and patient journey from reception to treatment.
