Job summary

Babcock International is seeking an Engineering Team Lead in Oakhanger, Hampshire to oversee the Installation and Maintenance Team on a critical Military Satellite Communications contract. You will lead engineers to maintain and enhance satellite ground station infrastructure, ensuring round-the-clock service.

This role demands systems engineering expertise in network and RF, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering within network/RF communications.
• Experience with satellite ground station equipment and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 2nd line problem reporting and maintenance tasks for network operations.
• Monitor communications systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver satellite services across current and future solutions.
• Ensure all maintenance activities receive required approvals before starting.
