Job summary

microTECH Global LTD in Bracknell is seeking a hands-on technician for precision mechanical assembly, integration, and test support of the AURA X satellite and thruster system. You will cover the full hardware lifecycle from assemblies and inspections to building test fixtures and GSE, supporting AIT campaigns.

You'll work in a lean, cross-disciplinary team, manage goods-in inspection, and uphold quality, traceability, and cleanliness of hardware, with exposure to ISO-class environments and

Qualifications

• Experience in precision mechanical assembly of aerospace hardware.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings including GD&T.
• Experience in cleanroom or ISO-classified environments.
• Experience logging and tracing hardware documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble satellite structure and propulsion components to engineering drawings.
• Apply torque using calibrated tooling per procedures.
• Maintain cleanroom operations and contamination control.
• Build mechanical test fixtures and GSE.
• Support vibration and structural test campaigns.
• Perform goods-in inspection and log items into inventory.
• Maintain as-built records and traceability.
• Flag non-conformances to the AIT Lead.
