SAP Specialist

What We Are Looking For:

Functional/Technical professional with at least 5 years of experience working with SAP S/4 as an SAP Production Planning consultant.

Purpose:

1. Operate as the subject matter expert in SAP Production Planning, providing professional advice and making recommendations to support business queries and requirements definition.
2. Design and develop business/process-enhancing solutions within SAP independently.
3. Deliver early life support for new solutions.
4. Support established in-house developed solutions.
5. Add value to existing business processes/procedures by improving efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Assist in managing third-party and internal suppliers.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Deliver projects from design to completion to achieve required business outcomes.
2. Influence and negotiate with key project stakeholders, using data and analysis to support reasoning.
3. Coordinate and supervise team members' activities.
4. Take ownership of and resolve complex technical problems within own specialty.
5. Prioritize work to deliver solutions for incidents, problems, change requests, and projects, meeting SLAs.
6. Challenge and respond to process issues.
7. Support data migration projects as required.
8. Translate business data requirements into solution frameworks/architecture.
9. Work with business experts and technical teams for incident & problem resolution.
10. Plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
11. Communicate effectively with business and project stakeholders.
12. Coordinate development and review of code elements.
13. Obtain acceptance for all deliverables from the business.
14. Ensure adherence to standards for all solutions.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Implement business solutions and enhancements.
• Apply patches/fixes to deployed solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing for new solutions.
• Provide early life support for new solutions.
• Transfer knowledge to team members.
• Create technical specifications and support documentation.
• Assist users in producing guides and training materials.
