Job summary

ea Change Group is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Architect for a consumer products and retail transformation delivered through a leading consultancy. The role is remote-first with occasional attendance in London, and offers a daily rate up to £1,000 inside IR35.

You will own the target architecture for the S/4HANA programme, ensure it fits the wider enterprise architecture strategy, and define integration requirements, data flows and data models.

Qualifications

• Hands-on S/4HANA architecture experience on a transformation or delivery programme.
• Genuine enterprise architecture breadth: standards, governance, design authority.
• Track record of defining integration between SAP and the wider landscape.

SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Architect | Up to £1,000/day | Remote First

Contract SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Architect for a consumer products and retail transformation, delivered through a leading consultancy.

• Rate: up to £1,000/day inside IR35
• Start: ASAP
• Length: initially to 18 December 2026, with likely extension
• Location: mostly remote, with occasional London attendance

What you'll do

You'll own the target architecture for an S/4HANA programme and make sure it fits the wider enterprise architecture strategy.

That covers:

• Setting S/4HANA architecture patterns, principles and standards
• Running architecture governance in line with enterprise objectives
• Defining integration requirements, data flows and data models into and out of SAP
• Keeping architecture consistent across delivery workstreams
• Aligning programme tooling and practices with enterprise EA
• Producing decision records, standards and architecture documentation

What we need

• Hands-on S/4HANA architecture experience on a transformation or delivery programme
• Genuine enterprise architecture breadth: standards, governance, design authority
• A track record of defining integration between SAP and the wider landscape
• Credibility with senior stakeholders and delivery teams alike

Nice to have

• Consumer products or retail experience (any subsector)
• Consulting background, or consulting behaviours from industry

This role needs someone who works across the whole SAP landscape. A deep single-module functional background won't be enough on its own.
