Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to lead architecture for a major SAP transformation. You will work across a senior, customer-facing team with Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and third-party suppliers to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

You will own architectural solutions through delivery, ensuring alignment with architecture standards, functional and non-functional requirements, and enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP Technical Architect or SAP Solution Architect.
• Strong experience with high-volume SAP environments and complex architectures.
• Experience delivering large-scale Solution Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system sizing and landscape design.
• Experience governing and assuring complex SAP implementations.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee technical architecture for complex SAP solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide architectural governance and assurance across high-complexity SAP implementations.
• Work with project and delivery teams to define technical scope and delivery approaches.
• Support SAP system sizing and landscape design.
• Assess technical and infrastructure projects for feasibility and delivery impact.
• Define and manage Non-Functional Requirements and their technical implications.
• Ensure technical solutions adhere to architecture standards, policies and best practice.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of Enterprise Architecture.
• Manage technical relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and senior business stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Architect to join a large-scale and complex transformation programme, providing technical leadership and architectural oversight across a major SAP environment.

This is a senior, customer-facing role where you will work closely with Functional Consultants, Project Managers, technical teams and third-party suppliers to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.

You will take ownership of architectural solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring technical implementations remain aligned with the agreed architecture, functional requirements, non-functional requirements and wider enterprise strategy.
