Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an SAP R2R Process Lead for a 6-month contract on a large S/4HANA RISE programme. You will drive the R2R workstream from discovery through design, aligning future-state finance processes with SAP best practices and coordinating with Finance, SI partners and programme leadership.

You will lead workshops, gather requirements and shape the overall Finance solution, ensuring governance and business readiness while supporting a potential extension into a 3–5 year

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading SAP R2R workstreams on large SAP transformation programmes.
• Strong functional experience across SAP S/4HANA Finance including GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, POC and Financial Reporting.
• RISE with SAP experience is highly desirable.
• Grocery retail sector experience is essential.
• Experience through discovery, assessment and programme mobilisation phases.
• Strong understanding of SAP best practice Finance processes and fit-to-standard methods.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the R2R workstream across discovery and planning phases.
• Define and document future-state Finance processes aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and challenge processes.
• Drive fit-to-standard workshops and support process harmonisation.
• Work with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants and SI partners to shape the Finance solution.
• Identify process improvements and ensure alignment with programme objectives.
• Support governance, decisions and business readiness activities.
• Act as the SME for all R2R discussions throughout the programme.
