Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to lead the technical landscape for a S/4HANA RISE programme. The role focuses on governance, architecture, and scalable SAP landscapes across the transformation lifecycle, from discovery through planning and implementation.

The ideal candidate has proven SAP S/4HANA delivery experience, familiarity with RISE with SAP, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Proven experience as SAP Technical Architect on enterprise-scale SAP programmes.
Strong hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations.
Previous experience with RISE with SAP is highly desirable.
Demonstrable experience within the grocery retail sector is essential.
Strong understanding of SAP technical architecture, integration and cloud environments.
Experience working through discovery, assessment and programme mobilisation phases.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent English.

Responsibilities

Define and own the SAP technical architecture for the S/4HANA transformation programme.
Provide architectural leadership throughout the discovery and planning phases.
Design scalable, secure and future-proof SAP landscapes within a RISE with SAP environment.
Lead technical design discussions across infrastructure, integration, security and SAP Basis.
Work closely with functional architects, delivery partners and programme stakeholders.
Support technical governance, standards and architecture reviews.
Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and SAP best practices.
