Job summary

Proactive Appointments Ltd is advertising for an experienced SAP Project Lead to join our client’s IT function in South Oxfordshire (on-site). The role is to lead SAP and business-application projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and a third-party SAP partner to ensure successful delivery.

You will bridge technical and business teams, translate requirements into robust solutions, and manage vendor relationships, risks, and governance to meet milestones within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP projects in a project lead/technical PM capacity.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP modules and ABAP or similar programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of SAP and application-based projects from requirements through implementation.
• Engage stakeholders to capture requirements and define scope and technical solutions.
• Act as main contact for external SAP partner and manage relationships.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to hit milestones within budget.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and guide design.
• Investigate and resolve SAP/application issues.
• Monitor progress, risks, and governance with thorough documentation.
• Drive continuous improvements in delivery, support processes, and ITSM.
