Job summary

Proactive IT Appointments Limited is seeking an experienced SAP Project Lead to join their IT function based in South Oxfordshire. This is an on-site, permanent role where you will own SAP and related business application projects, collaborating with stakeholders and an external SAP support partner to ensure successful delivery.

You should bring a technical background from software or application development or support, with strong SAP knowledge across modules and experience in coordinating

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SAP projects in a Project Lead/Technical PM role.
• Strong SAP knowledge across modules (ABAP knowledge advantageous).
• Technical background in software development or application support.
• Experience coordinating third-party suppliers and external partners.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with PRINCE2 and ITIL frameworks beneficial.
• Organised, detail-oriented, proactive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple SAP and application-based projects from requirements through implementation.
• Engage with business stakeholders to capture requirements and define scope and technical solutions.
• Act as main point of contact for external SAP support partner and manage relationships.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to hit milestones within timelines and budgets.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and guide design/development.
• Support investigation and resolution of SAP and application-related issues.
• Monitor progress, risks and deliverables with governance and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvements across delivery, support processes and IT service management.
