Job summary

Proactive Appointments are seeking an experienced SAP Project Lead to join their IT function in South Oxfordshire, with full onsite work and a permanent contract. The role centers on delivering SAP and business applications, bridging technical teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.

The successful candidate will own SAP projects, manage external SAP support, and coordinate multi-team efforts to milestones within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SAP projects in a Lead/PM role.
• Strong SAP knowledge across modules.
• Technical background from software development or support.
• Experience with third-party SAP partners and vendors.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• PRINCE2 and ITIL familiarity is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP and application projects from requirements through implementation.
• Engage stakeholders to define scope and technical solutions.
• Main point of contact for external SAP support partner.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to milestones and budgets.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and design guidance.
• Support investigation and resolution of SAP and application issues.
• Monitor progress, risks and deliverables with governance and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvements in delivery and IT service management.
