Job summary

Hitachi Europe Ltd in Datchet near Slough is seeking a Business Applications and Project Manager to oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of enterprise applications. You will lead the EDI and SAP Applications teams, manage project plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive best-practice IT service delivery across the organisation.

This hybrid role combines office days at Datchet with remote work and requires strong leadership, ERP/CRM experience, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in application management and project management.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, workflow and enterprise systems is required.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven track record delivering medium-to-large IT projects using structured methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize a portfolio of business applications including ERP and CRM.
• Directly lead EDI and SAP Applications teams with coaching and performance support.
• Drive upgrades, integrations, migrations and new system implementations.
• Translate business needs into clear delivery plans and manage risks.
• Coordinate testing, release management and post-go-live support.
• Liaise with vendors and partners to ensure service quality and improvements.
