Job summary

City of London Corporation is partnering with Reed to recruit an experienced SAP Payroll Implementation Specialist to support a major payroll system transformation. The role focuses on hands-on payroll system implementations, testing activities and payroll optimisation, within a six-month hybrid London-based contract.

The rate starts at £32 per hour PAYE, with potential to increase for the right candidate. You will work with Payroll, HR, Finance and IT teams to ensure successful go-live and

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing and testing SAP payroll systems.
• Experience in UAT, parallel payroll runs, and data validation.
• Public sector payroll knowledge and stakeholder liaison.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP payroll implementation and improvement projects.
• Lead UAT, system testing, and parallel payroll runs.
• Validate and reconcile payroll data across systems.
• Document processes, workflows and testing outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide go-live support during critical milestones.
