Job summary

Select Engineering is seeking a SAP ERP Project Manager to coordinate ERP deployments and improvements across manufacturing sites on a site-based basis in the UK. The role demands extensive ERP leadership, strong financial controls knowledge, and deep SAP FI/CO experience.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, align with project milestones, manage budgets, and drive change while communicating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage on-site implementation plan and coordinate with central project team
• Estimate project skill requirements to identify appropriate resources
• Review business requirements with Business Process Team
• Provide solutions to business requirements
• Interact with business process organization to identify changes
• Manage and track project budget - forecast and reporting
• Handle partner management, SOWs, Billing, POs and attrition rate

Hourly rate: Competitive (INSIDE IR35)

BASIC PURPOSE:

The SAP ERP project manager coordinates SAP ERP deployments, improvements for the manufacturing sites.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ years' experience in leading ERP projects
• 5+ full ERP project cycles
• Advanced knowledge of financial controls and reporting requirements/ SAP functionality
• Extensive knowledge of SAP FI/CO solutions.
• Basic knowledge of linked SAP functionality (for SD/WM configuration and data elements etc)
• 5+ years' experience direct and indirect resources management
• Strong cross functional knowledge in multiple SAP modules including finance, logistics, manufacturing
• Knowledge of the integration points with other Key modules SD/ WM / PP/ MM
• Organize and lead cross functional resources
• Strong process and automotive industry knowledge
• Strong understanding of the ERP project methodology.
• Very strong communication skills (written & oral)
• Ability to adapt communication according to the audience (business and technical)
• Very strong presentation skills
• Strong and proven project management ability.
• Ability to manage tasks at all levels to coordinate with project milestones
• Ability to assess and mitigate project risks.
• Experience with managing Developments & Process Integrations
• Manage and function well under tight timeframes - manage multiple priorities concurrently
• Ability to relate future direction of the organization while designing solutions and managing change
• Autonomous, ability to progress and deliver results by yourself.
• Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development.
