Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking an SAP Engineering & Administration Consultant for a high-security defence facility near Reading. The role links shop-floor engineering with enterprise IT, focusing on practical SAP usage rather than deep development, and requires 100% on-site presence in Reading.

You will support SAP MRP, inventory and demand planning, process purchase requisitions and POs, and coordinate data exchange between SAP and TeamCenter (PLM).

Qualifications

• Active DV clearance is mandatory.
• Hands-on SAP experience focusing on MRP and Purchasing.
• Exposure to TeamCenter / PLM systems and engineering data workflows.
• Background in Defence, Aerospace, or High-Tech Manufacturing.
• Must be able to work 100% on-site in Reading.

Deep SAP development/configuration skills are NOT required-we need a practical super-user who understands manufacturing workflows, purchasing, and data flows.

• Support Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), inventory, and demand planning in SAP.
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs).
• Coordinate data exchange between SAP and TeamCenter (PLM) systems.
• Troubleshoot everyday system issues for engineering, planning, and procurement teams.
• Maintain process documentation in a heavily regulated environment.

Key Requirements

• Active DV Clearance (Non-negotiable).
• Practical, hands-on user experience with SAP (MRP & Purchasing).
• Exposure to TeamCenter / PLM systems and engineering data.
