Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. seeks an experienced SAP Engineering / Administration Consultant to support a major UK defence client within a highly secure operational environment in Reading.

You will work on SAP-enabled business processes spanning manufacturing, engineering, procurement and resource planning, in collaboration with users, engineers and technical teams. Depth of SAP specialization is not required, but solid knowledge of MRP, procurement and SAP integration with TeamCenter is expected.

We are seeking experienced SAP Engineering / Administration Consultant to support a major UK defence client within a highly secure operational environment.

The successful candidates will provide practical support across manufacturing, engineering, procurement and resource planning processes, working closely with business users, engineers, planners and technical teams.

Deep SAP functional or technical specialisation is not required, but candidates should have solid practical knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), purchasing/procurement and SAP integration with TeamCenter.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP-enabled business processes across manufacturing and engineering environments.

• Understanding of manufacturing, engineering or production environments.
• Exposure to TeamCenter / PLM environments.
• Awareness of SAP-to-TeamCenter integration and data exchange.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.

Desirable

• Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Engineering or Government.
• Previous experience working in highly secure or classified environments.
• Knowledge of engineering change-control processes.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Understanding of secure and regulated operational environments.
