Job summary

Vaillant Group UK in Belper is seeking a Production Scheduler to join the Planning, Inventory and Logistics team, responsible for daily scheduling on assembly lines and processes to ensure on-time delivery using SAP and AMS+ systems.

The role requires SAP MM (with PP/WM desirable), experience in manufacturing control, planning and inventory, and a collaborative, results-driven mindset. A strong numerical/analytical ability and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential SAP knowledge in MM and ideally experience with PP and WM modules.
• Experience in manufacturing control, planning, inventory management, or cycle counting.
• Involved in new product introduction and release to production processes.
• Demonstrates a “can-do” attitude, works collaboratively as a strong team player, and can influence and resolve priority conflicts.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Process-oriented, able to identify, resolve, and elevate issues, and drive projects and VPS improvements to completion.

Responsibilities

• In your role as Production Scheduler, you will join a motivated Planning, Inventory, and Logistics team committed to operational excellence.
• You will manage daily scheduling and production activities for assembly lines and allocated processes within the Industrial Plant.
• You ensure on-time customer delivery and satisfaction by effectively using SAP and AMS+ systems.
• You take responsibility for SAP management and operation, ensuring accurate data and smooth workflows.
• You oversee capacity management of work centres to optimise production efficiency.
• You maintain clear and timely communication of scheduling and production information across teams.
