Job summary

W Talent, in partnership with a global manufacturing organisation in Heanor, Derbyshire, is recruiting a Production Scheduler on an 18-month secondment. You will manage daily production scheduling across assembly lines, collaborating with Planning, Inventory and Logistics to meet customer demand and delivery requirements.

The role requires SAP MM experience, with SAP PP and WM desirable, strong numerical and analytical skills, and a proactive, process-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and scheduling.
• Experience with SAP MM; knowledge of SAP PP and WM is desirable.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production schedules across assembly lines and processes.
• Ensure production plans support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate production and planning data within SAP and related systems.
• Support SAP management and operations for efficient workflows.
• Manage work centre capacity to optimise production efficiency.
• Communicate scheduling information clearly across teams.
• Support new product introduction and release-to-production activities.
• Identify and resolve scheduling issues and escalate where required.
• Assist with projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
