Job summary

Intertek Global is seeking a Sampler Technician to collect petroleum and chemical samples from client facilities and Intertek offices in the southeast. You will travel between sites, perform sampling and supporting tests, and ensure samples are handled safely and accurately.

The role requires a full UK driving license, strong customer service, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Full training is provided within a dynamic, regulated global organisation, with a rotating early shift pattern

Qualifications

• Must hold a full, clean UK driving license.
• Ability to gain knowledge of sampling techniques, laboratory operations/standards for petroleum products.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service.
• Motivated, self-starter with a collaborative mindset.
• Promote operational teamwork to support colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out sampling duties using approved techniques.
• Carry out testing of required samples as directed.
• Travel to and from client/Intertek facilities and transport samples in compliance with road traffic regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle condition sheets and maintain sample retention stores.
