Job summary

BearingPoint is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead at Senior Consultant level to join our UK practice. This is a hands-on delivery role, leading cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy Salesforce solutions in an agile, DevOps-driven environment.

The role focuses on Apex, LWC, integrations, and security, with opportunities to shape technical strategy, mentor peers, and contribute to our Salesforce community of practice. A competitive package and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong entrepreneurial, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with cross-functional collaboration for customer-focused outcomes.
• Hands-on development with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex incl. triggers, async processing, integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Git-based version control and branching models expertise.
• Awareness of Salesforce security principles including data protection and access control.
• Experience providing technical leadership across Salesforce dependencies and legacy integrations; drive technical strategy.
• Ability to implement monitoring/logging and troubleshoot Salesforce environments.
• Strong experience in agile development methodology.
• Ability to customize and optimize user experience; manage profiles/permissions/sharing models.
• Experience with Industry Clouds (Financial Services, Public Sector, Social Housing, Retail) is highly desirable.
• Experience/certifications with Experience Cloud, FSL, Agentforce, Data 360, or middleware is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using agile and DevOps practices.
• Own day-to-day technical delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes using best-practice development approaches.
• Develop robust, scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce configuration.
• Build, configure, and support routes to production through automated Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and aligned with best practices.
• Improve reliability, quality, and maintainability of Salesforce-based solutions across client enterprises.
• Produce detailed technical designs, demos, prototypes, and support solution validation.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects on implementation and architectural capability.
• Support Architects in embedding best practice within teams and communities of practice.
• Ensure delivery teams follow frameworks, coding standards, and patterns; extend standards as needed.
• Coach and develop engineering capability within the Salesforce team and stay current with platform developments.
