Job description

Reporting to their assigned Project/Delivery Lead, the Salesforce Functional Lead will primarily be responsible for working with Clients to define, design a solution which meets the criteria outlined in their Statement of Work.

• To lead a team in the successful delivery of a solution in line with what was sold
• To engage with senior stakeholders and end users to analyse and design solutions
• Provide input into process improvements

Requirements

• Lead the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions in alignment with client expectations and project scope.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and end users to analyze business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Guide and mentor project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes and methodologies
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce, offering strategic guidance to internal teams
• Conduct technical interviews in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team
• Participate in Tech Lead forums and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Facilitate and lead client workshops, ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Own and contribute to High-Level Design documentation and user story refinement
• Occasionally lead consultancy-led engagements independently
• Support pre-sales activities, including discovery workshops, solution summaries, and estimates
• Review and approve solution summaries and estimates prepared by Sales teams
• Plan and manage deployment processes in accordance with company standards
• Maintain up-to-date Salesforce certifications and release knowledge
• Identify and promote reusable assets such as design patterns, principles, and technical components
• Provide mentorship and support to junior members of the project team
• Jitterbit or Mulesoft (desirable)
• Certified Administrator
• Advanced progress in either the Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification path
