The Salesforce team manages the internal Salesforce org, our key business platform. The Salesforce Administrator will be vital in analyzing and resolving user issues, driving adoption, fixing system bugs, and implementing stakeholder change requests. They will also design, create, and deliver technical solutions to ensure the Salesforce org remains fit for purpose.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Participating in discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather and update solution requirements, and performing gap analysis between Salesforce capabilities and enhancement needs.
  • Analyzing user stories and translating them into working solutions, including test scenarios.
  • Designing, developing, testing, and delivering functional solutions within Salesforce, focusing on scalable, declaratively developed solutions.
  • Participating in user acceptance testing.
  • Providing user training and creating documentation to support rollouts.
  • Providing 1st & 2nd line BAU support for Salesforce.
  • Monitoring the ticketing system to address business queries promptly.
  • Mentoring junior administrators where relevant.
  • Addressing technical debt and managing data quality issues.
  • Recommending scalable solutions to enhance customer and user experience or operational efficiency.

About you:

You possess a strong understanding of core business functions (Marketing, Sales, Service Delivery, Finance, HR) and how to configure Salesforce accordingly. You are an excellent communicator, capable of leading discussions, managing expectations, and improving user experience and operational efficiency. You enjoy owning varied workloads, from solution delivery to end-user support and training.

You are confident in managing full project lifecycles, establishing rapport with users and stakeholders, and working autonomously or as part of a team. The role is based in Central London, with potential travel within the UK.

  • At least 2 years of Salesforce and Certinia administration experience, preferably in a business services industry or consulting.
  • Experience supporting users and resolving issues in a client-facing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ownership of projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience translating change requests into successful projects, including user training and documentation.
  • Expertise in Salesforce declarative configuration (Classic and Lightning).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce (Sales Cloud) and Certinia (PSA and FFA).
  • Experience supporting orgs with 200+ users.
  • Knowledge of Change and Release Management, sandbox management, and data loading tools.
  • Ability to present ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201).
  • Experience leading stakeholder discussions for strategic change.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau CRM, Conga, and DocuSign.
  • Ability to build solutions across various Salesforce clouds.
  • Additional Salesforce Certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
  • Experience mentoring junior admins.
  • Commitment to continuous learning in Salesforce and beyond.
  • Experience managing complex Salesforce orgs.
  • BA or Project Management certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
