Qualifications

Salesforce Team:

The Salesforce team manages the internal Salesforce org, vital for business operations. The Salesforce Administrator plays a key role, analyzing and resolving user issues, promoting adoption, fixing bugs, and implementing stakeholder requests. The role also involves designing, creating, and delivering technical solutions to ensure the org remains fit for purpose.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather and update requirements, perform gap analysis between Salesforce capabilities and enhancement needs.
  • Analyze user stories and translate them into solutions, including testing scenarios.
  • Lead or assist with designing, developing, testing, and delivering Salesforce solutions, focusing on scalable, declarative development.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing.
  • Deliver user training and create documentation for rollouts.
  • Provide 1st & 2nd line support for Salesforce BAU.
  • Monitor ticketing system to address business queries promptly.
  • Support or mentor junior administrators where relevant.
  • Address technical debt and manage data quality issues.
  • Identify opportunities for scalable solutions to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
About You:

You should have a strong understanding of internal business functions and how Salesforce can be configured to support them. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a proven track record of improving user experience and operational efficiency. You should enjoy owning and prioritizing varied workloads, from solution delivery to support and training.

You must be capable of managing full project lifecycles, establishing rapport with users and stakeholders, and working autonomously or as part of a team. The role is based in Central London, with potential travel across the UK.

  • At least 2 years of Salesforce and Certinia administration experience, preferably in a business services industry or consulting.
  • Experience in support roles, managing user issues from start to resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ownership of projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience in translating issues into successful projects, including user training and documentation.
  • Expertise in Salesforce declarative configuration (Classic and Lightning).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Certinia products.
  • Experience providing support for orgs with 200+ users.
  • Knowledge of Change and Release Management, sandbox management, and ETL tools like Data Loader.
  • Ability to prioritize requests and manage user expectations.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201).
  • Experience leading strategic business change discussions with stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau CRM, Conga, and DocuSign.
  • Ability to build solutions across various Salesforce clouds.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications: Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder.
  • Experience mentoring junior Administrators.
  • Demonstrated commitment to self-learning and career development.
  • Experience managing complex Salesforce orgs.
  • BA / Project Management certifications.
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
