The Job:

An exciting opportunity to kick-start your sales career by helping a thriving scale-up business to achieve its ambitious growth goals. If you secure this role, you will be inducted into a Sales Apprenticeship combining practical work experience with formal training and qualifications, allowing you to earn while learning and gain skills in customer service, sales techniques, and business operations.

The Sales Support Specialist will assist the sales team in qualifying opportunities, handling inbound sales inquiries, assisting with contractual administration during procurement, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth sales department operations. This role is designed to develop into a direct sales executive position supporting SMB customer deals. This is not a cold-calling role.

Responsibilities:
  • Qualify sales opportunities by assessing customer needs and requirements.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential leads for efficient resource use.
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate product and service information to prospective customers.
  • Conduct research on potential customers to identify decision-makers and relevant business information.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database and sales leads.
  • Triage incoming inquiries to determine appropriate actions.
  • Assign inquiries to relevant sales team members or departments.
  • Respond to emails and customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and address additional questions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and managing sales documentation.
  • Support completion of customer procurement forms.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks to facilitate sales team operations.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Recent graduate with an interest in technology and sales.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement.
