Job Title: Sales Processing Administrator

Location: Stratford, London E15 (near Westfield Shopping Centre)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Holiday: 20 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays

About Us:

Mara is a well-established supplier of janitorial and stationery products, serving a broad range of commercial customers. We pride ourselves on dependable service, quality stock, and an honest, practical approach to business.

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sales Processing Administrator to join our Stratford office. This is an on-site, full-time role ideal for someone who values consistency, accuracy, and clear communication in a busy commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately place and confirm sales orders
  • Verify delivery addresses and send confirmations to customers
  • Advise customers on non-stock items and offer alternatives at point of order
  • Monitor and distribute incoming sales emails
  • Answer sales-related telephone enquiries
  • Chase sales orders and liaise with internal departments
  • Review and approve web orders
  • Ensure customer contact details are current and correct
  • Process returns and work with the appropriate colleagues to resolve issues
  • Make a minimum of 3–4 daily customer service calls to prospective accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of sales quotations and purchasing when required
  • Carry out other administrative duties as directed by your line manager or company directors

Requirements:

  • Experience in a sales administration or order processing role
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and order management systems
  • Ability to stay organised and handle multiple priorities
