Cummins Mellor in Blackburn is seeking a detail-focused Sales Order Processor to manage customer orders from receipt to completion, ensuring accurate entry onto the ERP system and timely progression.

You will handle telephone, email, and online orders, check stock and lead times, prepare quotations, keep customers updated, and maintain accurate records. Experience in order processing or sales administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in order processing, sales administration or customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT skills including MS Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders received by telephone, email and online.
• Enter sales orders accurately onto the ERP system.
• Check product availability and lead times with customers.
• Prepare and send quotations as required.
• Keep customers updated on order status and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records.
• Process amendments, cancellations and returns; assist with pricing inquiries.
