Job summary

JDR Recruitment is recruiting for two Sales Administrators/Account Managers in Preston to support customers and logistics teams. The role suits candidates with experience in manufacturing or distribution, strong customer service, and familiarity with SAP CRM or similar systems.

Typical duties include processing orders, updating records, advising on availability and deliveries, and liaising with logistics and finance teams to ensure timely service. Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales administration in manufacturing or distribution.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle a busy environment.
• Experience with SAP CRM or similar CRM system.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders on internal systems.
• Update records and advise customers on product availability and deliveries.
• Deal with discrepancies and problem solve.
• Liaise with logistics/transport and update the operations manager regularly.
• Input data related to orders/invoices.
• Support the sales and customer function across the area of the business.
• Deliver the best possible service as part of the team.

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of this established Production and Distribution company in Preston. They are looking for two Sales Administrators/Account Managers to deal with their clients order requirements.

The role is ideal for a candidate with proven experience from a manufacturing/production or distribution background with excellent customer experience and is used to working in a busy processing and engaging role.

The ideal candidate will come with SAP CRM or similar experience.

Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.00

The Role:

You will be working in the team who supply support the sales and customer function for this area of the business.

Able to communicate at all levels you will be the interface between the customer and logistics departments are well as working closely with the finance team and wider teams.

What you will be doing:

• Processing customer orders on the internal systems
• Updating records
• Advising customers on product availability and updating them on deliveries
• Dealing with discrepancies
• Problem solving
• Liaising with logistics/transport
• Inputting data in relation to orders/invoices
• Discussing issues re deliveries/product issues in relation to drivers
• Liaising and updating the operations mgr regularly
• Play a key part in the team to delivery the best possible service
