Job Description:

Sales Operations Project Manager
Reporting to the EMEA Sales Operations Manager, this role will focus on the timely and successful implementation of new complex customer and company engagements. The role requires the individual to take a lead role in advising the strategic sales teams on how to match our systemic capability with the customer and internal owners' needs. Once the customer or internal owner(s) is aligned to a solution, the individual will take the lead role in process definition and project planning to meet the desired implementation timelines, ensuring that our strategic sales personnel can remain as externally focused as possible. As new requirements are uncovered, the individual will support the development of new capabilities to meet those needs. This role is a major cog in the wheel that will drive Arrow towards the long-term market-share objectives.
Principal accountabilities:

  1. Manage & Execute complex projects related to Special (Exec) Assignments, Customer Specific (Segregated Supply), Company Acquisitions & Merges, Change Management, execution of the Strategy, Organizational Changes in order to get things done.
  2. Manage and oversee the processing of sales orders ensuring accurate receipt and booking, tracking sales shipments, delivery, billing and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports, responding to inquiries regarding the status of orders and resolving customer order difficulties. Manage all facets of customer retention (CRM), including participating in the resolution of customer concerns and defining and developing a customer contact strategy. Manage return materials authorization (RMA) processes for ensuring customer returns, exchanges, service and repairs are done with speed and accuracy and all client/customer service delivery issues are resolved.
  3. Resolve escalated operational related issues including vendor concerns, contract reviews, and new programs.
  4. Assign, design and create new processes for special services/programs for customers. Manage market research to determine special pricing for non-standard items in the interests of ensuring appropriate profit margins are reached and maintained.
  5. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Manage staff including personnel development, hiring, training, etc. Monitor and review the work of staff.
  6. May oversee customer quotes activities in line with customer specific strategies, quoting processes, and order management to obtain efficiency and follow rules & guidelines.
