Greentec Auto, a well-established US leader in hybrid and EV battery remanufacturing, is bringing its high-quality, service-led operation to the UK – and this is your chance to be part of the groundbreaking launch of their first UK site in the Northwest this spring as Sales and Operations Manager!

Founded in 2012, Greentec Auto started as a family-run operation fixing hybrid batteries in Sacramento, California. Today, they have 32 locations across 60% of the U.S. and are now expanding into the UK to meet the growing demand for sustainable EV solutions.

As specialists in hybrid and electric vehicle battery repair, the team is committed to extending battery life cycles and contributing to a greener future. Now, we’re looking for an ambitious Sales and Operations Manager to lead the way for this first step into the UK market.

Sales and Operations Manager – The Role:

This is a rare, hands-on opportunity to launch, grow, and scale Greentec Auto’s first UK site. You’ll play a pivotal role in laying the foundations for a thriving business and preparing for national growth.

In your first year, you'll establish operational processes, build a team, and develop commercial relationships. As the business grows, you'll drive sales, expand our customer base, and take on greater responsibility with the potential to lead the company’s national expansion.

You’ll report directly to the US CEO and Founder and have the autonomy to shape Greentec Auto's future in the UK.

Sales and Operations Manager - Key Responsibilities:

1. Launch Greentec’s first UK site, creating a high-performing operation
2. Build and lead a team, ensuring exceptional service and technical expertise
3. Develop processes to ensure a smooth, scalable operation
4. Drive sales growth, build commercial relationships, and establish a strong local presence
5. Ensure compliance with all UK regulations and safety standards
6. Manage budgets, report risks and opportunities to U.S. HQ
7. Represent Greentec as the local face, engaging with suppliers, industry contacts, and local businesses

Sales and Operations Manager - You:

1. Proven leadership experience in sales and operations, ideally within automotive or EV sectors
2. Likely to be someone who understands cars - enjoying tinkering with cars and perhaps a background in Engineering, Mechanics, or Electrical.
3. A passion for the automotive industry, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing operational processes and teams
4. Commercial acumen, including proven success in driving sales and managing budgets
5. A strong ability to build relationships with both B2B and B2C customers
6. A hands-on problem solver, ready to jump in and provide technical support where needed
7. Self-starter mindset, comfortable working independently and leading in a start-up environment
8. Experience in health and safety, compliance, and financial management
9. Brand ambassador skills, with the ability to represent Greentec Auto in the UK market
