Founded in 1926, Sundström Safety AB is a Swedish, family-owned and established leader in high-quality respiratory protection. In recent years, Sundström has experienced impressive growth, creating new opportunities within the company. As part of our growth journey, our current Sales Manager in UK and Ireland will be moving into a new international role within the organization. We are therefore seeking to recruit his successor.

The Role

As Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in the region. You will play a key role in executing our strategic sales plans and acting as a brand ambassador for our safety solutions.

You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team that includes 7 Key Account Managers and Technical Sales Representatives in the UK & Ireland. You'll also collaborate with our wider Sales & Marketing Department of 30 dedicated colleagues. This role reports directly to the Head of Sales who is based in Sweden.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy for the UK & Ireland in alignment with global and regional objectives.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key distributors, partners, and end customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs; regularly report on progress and market insights.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, customer visits, and industry events.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Support to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with relevant academic qualifications with experience in a similar role—ideally within the PPE industry, and knowledge of respiratory protection.

You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus. You’re confident using tools like Office 365, Teams, and CRM systems to stay organized and connected.

You build strong business relationships with a professional and goal-driven mindset. As a leader, you inspire and motivate your team by leading with integrity and empathy. You foster a culture of open communication, accountability, and continuous development, empowering others to achieve their best.

What we offer

We can offer you a stimulating role in sales with products that make a real difference in people’s lives. At Sundström Safety, you’ll join a positive and inclusive work environment built on strong family values, where respect, support, and collaboration are at the core. You will be surrounded by knowledgeable colleagues and partners and benefit from ongoing professional development with real opportunities to grow within our company.

We encourage all qualified candidates to apply and look forward to welcoming you to our team. Selection is ongoing, so don’t hesitate to submit your application. For any questions, please contact Head of Sales, Patrik Andersson or Jenny Nordin HR specialist +46 10484800,
