We are searching for an exceptional Sales Manager (Trade Success) to join our team to help us deliver our redefined and ambitious travel agency strategy. The Sales Manager (Trade Success) is a key role within the trade sales channel. You will be a primary contact for our travel agent partners, working closely with marketing, contact center, operations, and other teams. Your solution-focused mindset will help create processes and solutions that build Titan Travel's positive reputation and industry-leading trade NPS score. You will also lead a talented team of three Training & Development Executives responsible for educating and motivating our partners, managing their accounts, and driving key KPIs such as online usage, product mix, and ASP.
Role Responsibilities
Account Management – Excellence Every day
- Act as an ambassador for Titan Travel, demonstrating high product and sector knowledge to elevate the brand's profile.
- Create, implement, and own the field team strategy, providing necessary tools and focusing on strategic accounts.
- Manage the trade inbox, identify training needs, and improve processes.
- Collaborate with the trade contact center to ensure prompt responses to inquiries.
- Coordinate with operations to review cases and communicate effectively with partners.
- Identify training needs and develop plans accordingly.
- Manage relationships with key training partners such as Tipto, ATAS & Travel Gossip to support roadshow strategies.
- Drive participation in Titan Rewards to boost upselling and business priorities.
- Assist in developing training plans with sales managers.
- Work with the Director of Trade Engagement to host educational trips.
- Maximize engagement with TITANium & trade communication sign-ups.
Strategic Planning – Make It Happen
- Attend meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
- Set targets and timelines for process improvements, managing quarterly development plans.
- Analyze account activity and performance regularly, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing action plans.
- Develop trade campaign engagement strategies, including incentives.
- Monitor competitor activities to keep Titan Travel competitive.
Flawless Execution – Do the Right Thing / Customer First
- Deliver on promises, building trust with accounts.
- Implement, track, and evaluate sales and marketing activities for ROI.
- Own and correct issues proactively.
- Manage workload effectively to maximize account engagement and administrative support.
Team Leadership – Our People Make Us Special
- Lead the field team of three Training & Development Executives.
- Collaborate with the wider sales team to meet revenue goals.
- Ensure the team has the tools and support needed to succeed.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years in trade sales or account management roles
- Experience in people leadership
- Background in sales and the travel industry
- Travel agency experience is advantageous
- Strategic planning experience
- Strong people management skills, especially in flexible/hybrid environments
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Sales-driven and commercially savvy
- Ability to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities
- Collaborative, innovative, and influential
- Cost-conscious with budget management skills
