Role Overview

The role of the Parts and Service Sales Manager is an exciting opportunity within Johnson Controls Global Marine & Navy to develop our focus on parts sales and new service growth in this segment with new and existing key accounts throughout the UK, predominantly in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in fire and safety equipment across Oil & Gas and Commercial Marine sectors.
  • Build relationships with new clients and manage existing key accounts.
  • Work closely with operations teams to support sales growth initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and expanding customer base.

How You Will Do It

Lead your Go-To-Market strategy, utilizing enterprise tools and value selling techniques to achieve growth. Continuously adapt your strategies based on market insights and industry networking. Use Salesforce.com CRM and other resources to manage leads and customer relationships effectively.

Success Criteria
  • Manage existing key accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Create and implement business development strategies.
  • Identify target accounts for growth and new opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors and industry developments.
  • Lead the sales process from opportunity to closure.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline to meet booking requirements.
  • Contribute to growth initiatives within our Marine and Oil & Gas sectors.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficient bid management.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in developing new business and managing client relationships.
  • Experience with Parts Sales, field sales, and relationship selling complexities.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM, including Altify, especially within large organizations.
  • Existing network within Commercial Marine and/or Oil, Gas & Marine markets is advantageous.
Preferred Skills
  • Track record in selling parts and technical services for fire protection, HVAC systems in relevant markets.
  • Comfortable presenting technical and commercial information.
  • Autonomous yet proactive team player.
  • Resourceful and customer-focused, with strong operational collaboration skills.
  • Ability to strategize and lead teams toward mutual success.
