The Game Plan

An exciting opportunity has become available to join a growing, hardworking, and ambitious UK sales team. 2024 will be a huge year for football with London and Dublin hosting the UEFA Champions League and Europa League Finals, as well as the Euro’s being held in Germany, the cultural home of OneFootball. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive the business agenda and outcomes of these tournaments firsthand by utilizing existing media agency relationships and developing new ones across the industry to educate clients about the OneFootball proposition and provide appropriate solutions to meet their challenges and objectives.

What You'll Do
  1. Utilize existing relationships and develop new ones at relevant Client Direct and Media Agencies to unlock new revenue opportunities.
  2. Develop appropriate solutions for advertisers by leveraging audiences and media opportunities across OneFootball's digital platforms to help them meet their campaign objectives.
  3. Manage the entire process from receiving a brief to delivering the campaign.
  4. Maintain and update CRM systems, forecasts, and pipelines diligently.
  5. Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets (both local and global bookings from the UK).
  6. Build strong internal relationships with clubs, publishers, editorial, social, legal, and marketing teams to maximize sales opportunities.
  7. Host and entertain strategically important clients at relevant events.
What You'll Bring
  1. Proven success and experience in media sales.
  2. Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and proactive attitude.
  3. Established network of media agency contacts.
  4. Ability to interpret client objectives, create aligned responses, and present effectively.
  5. Strong understanding of the media industry, especially digital media.
  6. Experience selling to UK and/or international account teams.
  7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Team player.
Nice to Have (but not necessary)
  1. Experience selling football or sports.
  2. Enthusiasm for football or sports in general.
  3. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
