Technify Talent is recruiting a Sales Manager for a UK defence-technology business serving Civil CNI. You’ll develop new business, manage strategic accounts and drive growth across airports, energy utilities, ports and transport operators with advanced detection and counter-drone solutions.
You’ll engage senior stakeholders, lead proposals and tenders, collaborate with engineering, and travel internationally as needed.
You've built relationships. You've won business. Now imagine selling technology that helps protect some of the world's most important infrastructure.
Technify Talent is supporting a rapidly growing UK defence-technology company in the appointment of an experienced Sales Manager to accelerate its expansion across the Civil Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) market.
The company develops sophisticated counter-drone and airspace protection technology, already helping safeguard environments including Heathrow and Gatwick airports and Wembley Stadium.
Following its acquisition by a major international defence group, it now has the backing, technology and global reach to pursue an ambitious new phase of growth.
And that's where you come in.
You're an experienced salesperson who understands that winning complex business is about more than presenting products and responding to tenders.
It's about understanding customers, building trusted relationships, recognising opportunities and helping organisations solve important problems.
Perhaps you've been successful selling technical solutions but want something more interesting. Something with genuine purpose, international potential and the opportunity to make a visible impact.
This could be exactly that opportunity.
Reporting to the Director of Sales (CNI), you'll develop new business and grow existing relationships across critical infrastructure markets.
Your customers could include airports, ports, energy companies, utilities, transport operators and other organisations responsible for protecting essential infrastructure.
You’ll work closely with engineering, product and commercial specialists to understand customer requirements and develop integrated solutions involving advanced detection, surveillance and counter-drone technologies.
This is a hands‑on sales position. You’ll be developing opportunities, meeting customers, influencing requirements and personally taking deals through to contract award.
And because the business is growing, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape its commercial success rather than simply inherit an established customer portfolio.
You’re an experienced B2B salesperson with a proven ability to generate opportunities, develop relationships and win technically complex business.
You might come from physical security, surveillance, sensors, radar, systems integration, aerospace, defence, cybersecurity or another technically sophisticated industry.
Experience selling into airports, energy, utilities, ports, transport or other critical infrastructure environments would be particularly attractive.
What’s important is your ability to understand complex technology, identify where it creates value and communicate that value to customers.
Above all, you’ll enjoy selling. You’ll be naturally curious, commercially ambitious and motivated by creating opportunities rather than waiting for them to arrive.
Because this is an opportunity to combine the agility of a specialist UK technology company with the backing of a major international defence group.
You’ll be selling technology that addresses genuine and increasingly important security challenges.
You’ll work alongside experienced technical and commercial professionals, develop relationships across significant infrastructure markets and contribute directly to the company’s next phase of growth.
And you’ll have the freedom and responsibility that comes with joining an ambitious business where individual contributions genuinely matter.
If you’re ready to apply your commercial experience to sophisticated technology that helps protect critical infrastructure, we’d like to hear from you.
UK Remote, with customer travel as required.
£80,000 base salary plus a performance-related bonus of up to 75% of base salary, offering total potential annual earnings of £140,000.
