Job description

Our Client is a leading supplier and distributor of Chemicals with a turnover of over £100m.

They are now seeking a Sales Manager for Bulk Chemicals (Inorganics & Minerals).

The role requires regular contact and visits to customers in the UK. This position will be field/home based, with a flexible location within the UK. It is a full-time, permanent role reporting to the Sales Directors and CEO.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promoting a range of Chemicals to new and existing accounts across the UK, mainly Inorganics and Minerals
2. Liaising with clients' technical and commercial departments
3. Sample & trial approvals
4. Formulating commercial contracts with supply-chain aspects
5. Assisting with exhibitions

Qualifications and Experience

• Educated to BSc level (or equivalent)
• A proven track record in sales and relevant experience in the Chemical Distribution Industry, including knowledge of sales and negotiation for bulk chemicals (essential)
• Good communication skills
