Job summary

GCS Associates in Reading is seeking an experienced Branch Sales Manager for our Plumbing & Heating division. You will lead the sales team and trade counter, working with the Branch Manager to drive sales, profitability and customer service in a busy branch environment.

The role requires a proactive, assertive leader with experience in plumbing/heating building materials or related distribution. Salary range £40,000–£45,000 plus a bonus and car allowance; excellent development opportunities and

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing and heating supplies distribution.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team and develop staff.
• Strong knowledge of building materials is preferred.
• Background in branch or counter-based sales is advantageous.

We are recruiting a Branch Sales Managers position for an extremely well respected supplier of Plumbing & Heating Building Materials in the Reading area.

Working within a large branch you will be responsible for the sales team as well as the Trade Counter. Working alongside the Branch Manager you will be part of the senior management, helping drive forward the sales and profitability of the business. You will require a true sales drive to motivate the sales team. You will have complete autonomy within the role and a clear development plan for the future.

A background within the Plumbing & Heating construction supplies distribution environment (or similar) is a definite advantage A good general knowledge of building supplies is required. We need to find someone with an assertive and proactive personality and good management skills.
