Confidential in Henley-on-Thames is seeking a Sales Executive in the plumbing and heating merchant sector. You will support the branch, assist with staff, and serve both trade and retail customers.

Are you an Assistant Manager, Trade Counter Supervisor or experienced Salesperson from a plumbing, heating, builders' merchant or trade counter background, looking to take the next step in your career within a successful and established merchant?

Do you have strong customer service and sales skills, looking for a varied role where you will support the day-to-day running of a busy branch, develop your leadership experience and build long-standing relationships with both trade and retail customers?

The business supplies both trade professionals and retail customers with everything from individual plumbing components through to complete bathroom and central heating systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy plumbing and heating merchant in a varied position where you will support the Branch Manager across sales, customer service, stock management and branch operations.

The Role:

• - Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the branch
• - Assist with supervising staff, delegating tasks and coordinating daily workloads
• - Serve trade and retail customers across the trade counter and showroom
• - Build strong relationships with existing customers and help develop new business
• - Provide practical product advice across plumbing, heating and associated products
• - Process customer orders, quotations and enquiries

The Person:

• - Experience within a plumbing and heating merchant, builders' merchant, trade counter, distribution or similar environment
• - Sales and customer service skills
