About you as Sales Manager

  • Excellent background in sales, ideally from hotel / hospitality environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Character, personality and charm in abundance
  • Ability to work to deadlines and short lead times
  • Excellent communication and active listener to identify clients’ needs
  • Multi – tasker and team player
  • Be passionate and hungry for developing new business

Aim of the Sales Manager role

You will be responsible for managing clients across all market segmentations including Group, Leisure & Corporate while working closely with the centralised L+R Commercial team; from within these segments & stand-alone will be an integral part of the role, as you will be supporting the centralised ILH Group & Events team

What you will be doing in the Sales Manager role

  • Serve as a true ambassador for the Townhouse through personality and flair, by creating an exceptional and memorable experience for all our clients
  • Execute the Townhouse sales strategy as directed by the L+R Commercial team & General Manager, ensuring both a proactive and reactive approach to business
  • Support with sales activities such as, but not limited to research, cold calling, site visits and client entertaining to build relationships and drive business growth
  • Support the L+R Commercial team during the RFP process ensuring all relevant property details are updated while sourcing/sharing new market leads
  • Support the Central Events team by working together to maximise revenue opportunities at a hotel level
  • Be confident in utilising and use relevant hotel market performance tools such as Agency 360, Navarino Services, Lanyon, etc.
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly business reports at the direction of the L+R Commercial team while ensuring Salesforce is consistently updated
