Job summary

The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge is seeking a Sales Manager to nurture the relationship between the hotel and its clients, including existing and new accounts you will bring in. Working with the Director of Sales, you will leverage your sales expertise, communication skills, and fresh ideas to drive hotel business.

The role involves a refurbishment project and a relaunch in 2027, offering opportunities to contribute to a unique guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel sales or corporate account management preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting and growth of existing accounts.
• Monitor, analyse and report on key accounts; contribute to weekly/monthly activity reports.
• Maximise opportunities across transient, group and event business; pursue ancillary revenue.
• Understand competitive market and keep the hotel ahead in the local area.
• Negotiate contracts and complete corporate RFPs.
• Attend client hospitality events, networking, trade shows and sales missions in UK and overseas when required.

The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge is looking for a Sales Manager who can successfully manage a strong relationship between the hotel and client. This includes existing accounts and new accounts that you would be expected to bring into the hotel.

Working with The Director of Sales, you will employ your proven sales expertise, outstanding communication skills, and wealth of fresh ideas to drive business to the hotel actively.

The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge is currently undergoing a significant refurbishment, redefining one of London's most iconic addresses ahead of its relaunch in April 2027.

With your natural interpersonal skills, independence and professional appearance, inquisitive nature, and passion for achieving the best, you will have the chance to contribute to providing a unique guest experience.

Sales Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for idea generation and prospecting new business to grow market share whilst also looking at ways to increase share from existing account
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on performance of key accounts / Contributing to weekly/monthly reporting on key activities completed / business developed
• Maximise potential sales opportunities for transient, group and event business and other ancillary
• Requirement to understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
• Contract negotiation and completion of corporate RFPs
• Participate in client hospitality events, networking events, trade shows and Sales Mission in the UK & overseas when required

Sales Manager will have:

• Experience and knowledge within the similar market in Central London
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Excellent command over the English language, including both written and verbal
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude
