Priority Recruitment is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing showroom team in Heywood, with a £35,000 basic and uncapped OTE (£60,000+). The role runs Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with some weekend work to support the business.

You’ll drive revenue, lead the team, and ensure an exceptional customer journey from enquiry to handover. Responsibilities include coaching, performance monitoring, and CRM-led lead conversion, while maintaining showroom standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive in the automotive or leisure vehicle industry.
• Proven leadership to develop high-performing teams.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with excellent commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

The Role

As Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the showroom, leading and developing the sales team while driving revenue growth and ensuring every customer receives a first-class buying experience.

Working closely with the directors, you'll monitor performance, maximise sales opportunities and maintain the highest standards across the sales operation.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading, motivating and developing the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
• Driving sales performance while maximising profitability
• Managing showroom presentation, displays and stock availability
• Overseeing online listings to ensure they remain accurate and engaging
• Structuring finance and insurance (F&I) deals while maintaining regulatory compliance
• Monitoring sales enquiries and optimising lead conversion through the CRM system
• Delivering an exceptional customer journey from initial enquiry through to handover
• Tracking team KPIs and reporting sales performance to the directors
• Coaching and mentoring team members to maximise individual and team performance
• Supporting recruitment, training and ongoing development of the sales team

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive within the automotive or leisure vehicle industry
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with excellent commercial awareness
• Experience structuring finance and insurance products (F&I)
• Confident using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy sales environment
• Full UK driving licence (Category C1 would be advantageous)
