Job summary

Scotsman is opening its first Student Accommodation property in St Andrews, seeking a proactive Sales & Lettings Coordinator to manage end-to-end leasing and marketing activities. You will handle viewings, convert leads to bookings, and coordinate daily tasks to meet leasing targets.

Ideal candidates have prior sales and marketing experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in Word/Excel. Living in the Fife area is required as the role is based in St Andrews.

• Previous sales and marketing experience in a similar role.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Word/Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Confident with Internet/web usage.
• Good organisational skills.
• Must live in the Fife area as the role is based in St Andrews.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sales process end to end.
• Market accommodation via portals and agent listings/websites.
• Conduct viewings and property inspections.
• Convert prospects and leads into bookings to achieve targeted leasing numbers.
• Plan and organise daily activities to maximise bookings.
• Onboard clients and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Analyse customer insights, market trends and marketing best practices.
• Handle objections and provide satisfactory after-sales service.
• Project manage and assist in staging marketing photos.
• Create adverts on Student Crowd, Instagram and Facebook using social media.
• Collaborate with Marketing to build the brand.
• Weekend and evening work will be required.

As Sales & Lettings Coordinator, your role will include:

• Manage the sales process end to end.
• Manage marketing of accommodation via portals and agent’s listings/websites.
• Conducting own viewings and carrying out property inspections.
• Convert prospects and leads into bookings to achieve targeted leasing numbers.
• Plan and organise daily activities to maximise the time to achieve targeted booking numbers.
• Handling the on boarding process of the clients along with maintaining an active sales pipeline.
• Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
• Handling objections and providing satisfactory after sales service.
• Project manage and assist in the staging of professional marketing photos.
• Creating adverts, whether this be on Student Crowd, Instagram, Facebook fully utilising social media.
• Working closely with the Marketing Department to produce ideas to help build the brand.
• Weekend and evening work will be required.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have:
