My client based in the York area is currently looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk. This is an exciting chance to join a well-known and well-respected business in York.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing sales ledger accounts to maintain precision and up-to-date records.

• Keeping track of and addressing bad debt, including spotting overdue accounts.

• Distributing payments, pursuing overdue accounts, and resolving queries.

• Supporting month-end tasks like preparing over trading reports and approving credit increases.

• Conducting monthly reconciliations of cash sales.

• Creating and dispatching invoices and account statements to clients.

• Managing and evaluating new credit applications.
