Sales Ledger and Credit Controller / Billingshurst / Accounting & Finance

Client Details

A well-established but growing organization based in the Billingshurst area is looking to recruit a Sales Ledger and Credit Controller for a fixed-term maternity cover contract lasting approximately 12 months.

Description

As Sales Ledger and Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Invoicing daily for dispatched sales orders
• Reconciling bank statements and posting customer payments
• Maintaining and updating customer details as required
• Performing credit checks on new and existing customers
• Handling customer queries, investigating claims and disputes, and resolving or escalating as necessary
• Chasing overdue payments from customers
• Ensuring customers stay within their credit limits and requesting payments when needed
• Reconciling the sales ledger monthly

Profile

• Experience in credit control and sales ledger management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate/high level)
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail

Job Offer

Salary: £29,000 - £30,000

Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH, parking available
