Job summary

Castle Employment Group in York is seeking a Sales Executive to join a growing business. The role is predominantly telephone-based with warm leads; some on-site meetings may occur. You will build relationships, understand customer needs and drive sales to targets.

Offering a salary up to £30,000 plus uncapped commission from day one, with Monday–Friday 9am–5:30pm and some weekend rota shifts. This is a full-time, permanent position in a customer-focused sales team.

Qualifications

• Previous telephone-based sales experience in a B2B or B2C environment.
• Confident and personable, able to build relationships over the phone.
• Proactive, organized and persistent in following up leads.
• Target-driven with a passion for customer service.
• Willingness to learn technical product information and go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming enquiries and follow up warm leads to convert opportunities into sales.
• Build relationships with customers over the phone, email and messaging platforms.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Manage an organized sales pipeline, following up on quotations and outstanding enquiries.
• Book appointments and provide a welcoming, consultative sales experience.
• Support trade customers with enquiries, quotations and repeat business.
• Work closely with the marketing team to support promotions and customer engagement.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
