Role: Sales Executive

Location: Marshall Volkswagen Van Centre Reading

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday with Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis

Salary: £20,000 basic plus uncapped OTE and a company car

Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, pension scheme, wellbeing support, employee discounts for servicing and popular retailers, and a purchase discount scheme

Bonus scheme: Based on sales of new and used vehicles

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced salesperson to join our franchise, providing high-quality service to our customers and representing both Marshall Motor Group and our leading brand.

You will be responsible for the entire customer experience, converting interactions into vehicle, finance, and insurance sales. We will support you with sales process, FCA, and compliance training through our Sales Orientation course and manufacturer-specific training.

Candidate Profile
  • An experienced salesperson eager to develop or start their career in the motor industry
  • A passionate, proactive attitude to supporting customers and offering suitable options
  • Ability to build rapport easily and thrive in a target-driven environment focused on customer outcomes
  • A keen interest in the motor industry and a desire for a successful sales career
Responsibilities
  • Ensure customers receive excellent outcomes from every interaction
  • Respond to queries about new and used vehicle sales from new and existing customers
  • Guide customers through their purchase, providing outstanding service as the face of Marshall and the vehicle brand
  • Achieve individual sales targets by exploring and satisfying customer needs for finance, insurance, and optional extras
  • Generate enquiries through prospecting and marketing across multiple channels
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer vehicles and options
  • Manage vehicle handover processes in compliance with procedures
  • Adhere to Marshall and industry regulations regarding vehicle, finance, and insurance sales
