Kream Motor Recruitment is seeking a proactive Sales Executive for a privately owned main dealer in Exeter. You will welcome customers, present vehicles, and tailor finance and warranty options to meet budgets.

The role offers opportunities to build relationships, drive test drives, and contribute to showroom performance. Experience in car sales is a plus but not essential; strong communication and presentation skills and a willingness to complete FCA accreditation are valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Confident negotiating sales to maximise volume and profitability.
• Interest and general knowledge of motor vehicles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Comfort with IT/software for digital platforms and video walkarounds.
• Willingness to undergo FCA accreditation training.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers to the dealership, understanding their needs and budget, and providing vehicle information.
• Demonstrating features and guiding customers on test drives.
• Negotiating price, trade-ins, and upselling accessories or warranties.
• Discussing financing requirements and tailoring solutions.
• Maintaining showroom and used car displays to create a positive first impression.
• Following up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and provide order updates.
• Identifying new leads via online research, social media, and relationship-building.
