Job summary

Marshall BYD Peterborough is seeking a confident, customer-focused Car Sales Executive to guide customers through every stage of their car‑buying journey, from first enquiry through handover.

You will build lasting relationships, tailor solutions with finance and insurance options, and join a 40‑hour week with a weekend rota, a £27,000 basic salary plus £50,000+ OTE, a company car and guaranteed first month earnings of £3,333.

• Previous sales experience, automotive preferred or fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to build rapport.
• Target-driven with a professional attitude and pride in representing a trusted brand.

In this role:

• You’ll be responsible for guiding customers through every stage of their car-buying journey, from first enquiry through to handover.
• You'll build lasting relationships, take time to understand each customer’s needs, and help them find the right solution; whether that’s a brand-new vehicle, a quality used model, or tailored finance and insurance options throughout our non-advised customer journey; you’ll learn all about it at our bespoke 3 day Sales Training course.

We're looking for:

• Someone with previous sales experience, whether in automotive or another fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Someone with good communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport, while thriving in a target-driven setting that rewards both performance and professionalism.
• Most importantly, someone who's passionate about delivering great outcomes and proud to represent a brand that people trust.
